Tis the season

IT’S starting to look a lot like Christmas at Montroya!. Rosie Skowronek has coor-
dinated the elementary school’s craft fair and bake sale which happens today,
noon to 4 p.nt. at 5310 Sonora Dr., North Vancouver. Expect to find dried flower
arrangements, wreaths, country crafts, Christmas ornaments and home baking.

Winter Family Ball bash

PEACE for the World is the theme
"of this year’s Winter Family Ball.

Doves and festive trinkets from around the
world will transform the ballroom of the Hyatt
Regency Sunday, Dec. 15, when Family
Services of the North Shore holds its 11th
annual festive family evening.

~ Cocktails and children’s entertainment starts _

at 5:30 p.m. A sit-down turkey dinner and mag-
nificent dessert parade will be followed by danc-
ing, at 8:30 p.m., to Public Eye.
Nine hundred guests, from toddlers to
grandparents, are expected to attend. .
Some tickets ($100 for adults, $85 for chil-
dren 12 and under) are still available. Call Anne
