YWCA Career Directions For Youth is an opportunity for those aged 19 to 24 to get on the job experience in their desired occupation. The Career Directions program is open to those who have conducted at least seven months of independent job search while receiving sociai assistance. The guided program is run by trained counsellors who will help participants learn what it takes to choose, find and keep a job. Participants will also have a number of resources apart from the staff to draw on.
