SAFETY AND security are the
first good reasons for having good
lighting outside your home.

You want to prevent accidents
by having well lighted dark areas
around the house, parauge and
grounds. Police officials recom-
mend outdoor lighting as an im-
portant home security measure.

To light dark areas, use 75w or
150w~ PAR floodlights mounted
high on the house, poles or trees.
Remember to consider cre comfort
of your neighbors when aiming the
lights.

The use of energy saving low
voltage lights might be considered
in addition to flood tighting
systems. Some of the low energy
systems out in the marketplace
have timers that can be set for se-
curity reasons.

turns them off at dawn when it’s

automatic timer which will turn
your outdoor lighting on and off
at predetermined times.
