THE 1984 Olympic Wrestling
Team will have their Pre-
Olympic Training Camp at
Simon Fraser University
from Sunday, June 24 to Fri-
day August 3, 1984.

There will be two workouts
daily for the team including a
9:00-10:30 a.m. session that

will involve running, stret-
ching ‘and weightlifting,
which will be followed by a
5:00-7:00 p.m. workout that
will lean toward wrestling
technique and style.

Since the 57 kg and 74 kg
weigh classes have been sanc-
tioned by the C.O.A.,

nine-man team which in-
cludes Ray Takahashi (57 kg,
Ontario), Lawrence Holmes
(57 kg, Ontario), Bob Robin-
son (62 kg, Ontario), Dave
McKay (68 kg, B.C.), Chris
Rinke (82 kg, B.C.), Clark
Davis (90 kg, Quebec),
Wayne Bightwell (100 kg,

kg, B.C.). The 74 kg division
representative will be deter-
mined in the second week of
{raining camp as Marc
Mongeon (B.C.) will face
Ken Bradford (Ontario).
Also attending the camp
will be a number of other top
flight Canadian’ wrestlers
