A VANCOUVER _ businessman and his son facing charges in con- nection with a dispute over repairs to = cooler at a West Vancouver pizza parlor have had their trial adjourned to Dec. 27. Hugo Hector Rousseau, 46, and his son Charlo Hector Rousseau, 22, were scheduled to appear in West Vancouver provincial court on Sept. 6. But on Sept. 4 a new trial date was requested because the Rousseaus had obtained a new lawyer who was unprepared to go ahead with the case. The Rousseaus are facing a joint charge of obstructing a police officer in connection with a March 9 incident at Pizza 222 in the 2200-block of Marine Drive. Charlo Rousseau also faces one count each of resisting arrest and committing mischief after he allegedly damaged the door of the pizza parlor. The charges stem from an inci- dent in which the two men were allegedly trying to repossess parts of the Pizza 222’s refrigeration unit following a dispute over payment for repairs alleged to have been performed on the unit by Charlo Rousseau’s refriger- ation company, C.R. Ice Machines Inc. Charlo Rousseau was also scheduled Sept. 6 to face charges laid against him by West Van- couver District for operating C.R. Ice Machines Inc. without a business licence. In connection with a separate case, Charlo Rousseau failed to show up in West Vancouver pro- vincial court on Sept. 4 after he was summonsed to appear on a charge of assaulting a man on March 24, YOU GET ALL THIS PLUS $1,000" Every MONTH UNTIL Fes 199 Buy one of our incredible 2 bedroom view suites at ones THE OBSERVATORY Now!
