Patrick Frailey was fined $250
after the North Vancouver man
pleaded guilty to possessing mari-
juana in connection with a Nov.
14, 1988 seizure of the drug.

Ronald Kells was fined $250
after the 39-year-old West Van-
couver man was found guilty of
assault.

Michael Walton received a
suspended sentence and was placed
on probation for 18 months after
the 37-year-old North Vancouver
man pleaded guilty to assaulting a
female in connection with an Oct.
1, 1988 incident.

Thomas Pierre was fined $500
after the man of no fixed address
pleaded guilty to failing to stop a
vehicle when requested to do so by
a police officer in connection with
an Oct. 25, 1988 incident in West
Vancouver.

Vancouver provincial court on
Jan, 4:

Suzanne Leslie Baker received a
suspended sentence and was placed
on probation for six months after
the 25-year-old North Vancouver
woman pleaded guilty to assaulting
another female in connection with
an Aug. 30, 1988 incident.

She was also ordered to perform
30 hours of community work ser-
vice,

North Vancouver provincial court
on Jan. 3:

Steven Martin Siemens was fined
$500 and had his driver’s licence
suspended for two years after the
20-year-old Delta man _ pleaded
guilty to driving a motor vehicle in
a manner dangerous to the public
in connection with a July 27, 1988
incident on the Upper Levels
Highway.

thing to do over two upcoming

On Friday, March 17, teachers’
professional day, and during spr-
ing break, March 28 to 31, the rec-
reation centre will offer a variety
of activities for children six to 12
years old. in addition, some
special outtrips have been planned
for during the spring break.

Program fees are $16.25/day (9
a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) or $52 for the
four days of spring break.
