THE WORKS.

Our Masterworks “A” series are concerts
in the grand symphony tradition: Beethoven,
Stravinsky, Ravel, Chopin, Mendelssohn,
Strauss, Mahler, Rachmaninoff, Sibelius and
more. Sundays at 2:30 p.m. or Mondays at
8:00 p.m. October 16- May 29. 10 concerts
from $60 (Students/Seniors) to $295
(Dress Circle). Masterworks “A” half series
(5 concerts) from $31 (S/S) to $148 (DC).

MOZART PLUS.

Masterful music from Mozart and the
world’s great composers: Brahms, Rossini,
Rimsky-Korsakov, Shostakovich, Wagner,
Tchaikovsky, Schubert. Masterworks “B", {0

Imagine the Orpheum stage overflowing
with artists! 180 singers from the Bach Choir
will join the 76 member VSO for 6 spectacular
concerts November 26/28, February 11/13 and
March 18/20. Saturday or Monday at 8:00 p.m.
3 concert “Choral Series” from $18 (8/5) to

SAMPLER SERIES.

This is a series specially designed for
first-time symphony goers. Sample music from
the masters October 30/31, November [9/20
and with the Bach Choir November 26/28.

TEA & TRUMPETS.

Host Otto Lowy from CBC's “Trans-
continental” will whisk you away on journeys
you've only dreamed of. 4 concerts in the

Once you've sampled the grand classics

KIDS KONCERTS.

In addition to our school concert
programme, we have created a special concert
series for children ages 4 to 10. 2:30 p.m. on

April 9 “Symphony and Dance”.
