Capilano College did well in the first half, with veteran players from last semester hoiding on to a 1-1 tie. “We played well in the first half, but we had some problems in the second,’’ said coach Joe lacobellis. ‘‘We were trying out some new kids (and) their goalkeeper was hot — he made some really good saves."” The lone Capilano goal came from first-year player Randy Celebrini.
