Community Arts Council is
pleased to be able to offer a
special workshop on Japa-
nese Flower Arranging.

On Thursday, May 23, at

Klee Wyck, 200 Keith Road,
West Vancouver from 9 am
to 3 pm, Faith Darnbrough
will discuss the history and
methods of Japanese Flower
Arranging, Ikebana, through
a lecture/demonstration and
a film. For the second half
of the workshop, partici-
pants will be helped to create
their’ “own ‘arrangements.
Mrs. Darnbrough has studied
in Canada and in Japan. Her
classes are popular for being
informative, lively and fun.
. This workshop will be
held-in the perfect setting as
Klee Wyck is situated in the
middle of a beautiful garden
next to the Capilano River.

Pre-registration for this
workshop is a must, and can
be done by calling 922-1110,
between 10 am and 2 pm
weekdays, or stopping by

‘Klee Wyck during the same

hours. Cost fox the course is

$15. A supplies list will be
: provided upon registration.
