Support Unicef :

THE CAPILANO Community Services Society urges local residents
to visit its office and support UNICEF.

For the past two years, the society reception office volunteers have
staffed a UNICEF outlet selling UNICEF cards, gift and stationery
items from the Delbrook Community Centre ct 600 W. Queens Rd.

The outlet is coordinated by a focal resident, Joan Beddoes, and
staffed by two volunteers each day. The reception office is open
Mondgy to Friday 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Proceeds from the sale of just one box of cards can provide 185
tablets to help cure children of tuberculosis; two boxes can mean a
mew stethoscope for a rural health centre. In over 100. countries
UNICEF is helping children with more and better food, improved
health care and iacreased educational cpportunities.
