Disability Resource
Centre (NSDRC) is
holding a Quality
Junque Garage Sale on
Saturday, Oct. 25 from
9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The sale takes place at the
NSDRC office at 3158 and
3160 Mountain Highway.

The group’s goal is to raise
money for the renovation of
the office ar 3160 Mountain
Highway to house its new
information services program.

Said NSDRC president
Pam Horton, “The informa-
tion services program will
extend our services and sup-
ports ro a larger number of
people with disabilities as well
as the general public.”

Key components of the
New program include intor-
mation and referral services,
an expanded resource library
(complete with two public
access Internet work sta-
tions), public education pro-
grams offered primarily by
people with disabilities and
personal advocacy for people
seeking access to services.

ckets for a 50/50 draw
may be obtained from the
association office prior to the
day of the garage sale. The
50/50 draw prize is up to
$1,000.
