CAPILANO RIVER BUCK RACE.

The Great Capilano River Duck Race -
sponsored by the Rotary Club of North Vancouver
and the North Shore Credit Union ~ is an annual,
fun-filled event and takes place on March 6th,
1994, commencing at 1:00 p.m.

30,000 cute little yellow rubber ducks will brave
the waters of the Capilano Canyon and once again
race for the finish line at Park Royal South. Enter
your duck for just 35.00 and know that you are
benefitting the North Shore Neighbourhood
House, as well as scores of other community
organizations throughout B.C.

Not only that, you'll have a chance to win one of
the fabulous prizes for the first 10 ducks - see
page 2 for details.

And keep a look out in ail editions of the North
Shore News during the few weeks before the race
and you'll see a number of special events that are
being organized. The Race mascot - Big Duck -
will be touring all the North Shore Malis, and
helping to promote and sell tickets for the race. in
fact, everything is "just Ducky” for yet another
great day out for all the family - so we look
forward to seeing you "down by the riverside"
on March 6th!
