WEST VANCOUVER District Council hopes to. imiprove a
small commercial area bounded by the CapilanoRiver
Marine Drive and Tayior Way at the municipality’s

way.

A new bylaw to amend the Of-
ficial Community Plan and desig-
nate the 500 and 600 blocks of
Clyde Avenue as a development
permit area was introduced Mon-
day night. N

A public hearing for the desig-
nation has been set for Sept. 28.

Ald. Rod Day said the purpose
of the designation was to en-
courage more overall planning in
the area,

According to Mayor Mark
Sager, a meeting of the area’s
property owners has been set up.
