Adams played to a full house at the Orpheum Wed- nesday, a free concert given specifically for the filming of the video, and as Adams says, a chance for his group to rehearse new songs to a live audience. Speaking at a press conference Monday with Adams, centre, and video producer Simon Fields, left, Adams’ manager Bruce Allan said about free ticket sales earlier this week, where about 3,000 fans lined up for 1,300 tickets, ‘‘l guess you could say it’s a good idea gone wrong, but I think you're damned if you do, you're damned if you don't.”” Anything goes for jazz musicians IN THE LIFE of a jazz musician, anything goes.
