Highlight of entertainment for the af- ternoon will be the “Melody Mac Musical” group who will perform and lead a sing- a-long. Meanwhile, the new activities gaining populanty are the nutritious hot lun- ches served everyday of the week (except Thursday) from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The lunch (only $1.25) consists of a piping hot soup, a sandwich and a cup of tea/coffee with a very appetizing dessert. Refills are free. Other activities gaining popularity are the Dancing Group every Monday. Square dancing is going presently, ballroom dancing and other modern dancing will soon follow. Outtrips and outdoor activities are already being planned by the members and schedules will be issued to members and thetr friends as soon as plans have been established and completed. With the addition of a part-time staff to help visit seniors, home visiting, counselling, and grocery shopping services have been enhanced. Also 25 home- visiting volunteers placed on a one-to-one basis have been a great help to the expansion of these services. Several incentive workers who are referrals from the Ministry of Human Resources are playing an important part in the recreation programs of the seniors at the House.
