This fall the YMCA- Sparca Gymnastics Club is offcring classes for every age, starting with parent- child programs to advanced gymnastics. This year the club is again offering a special ‘display group’ for gymnasts which emphasizes gymnastic exhibitions and team displays rather than com- tae wey ny a en “ . All games will be played at the North Van Rec Centre with the seniors playing Sunday evenings beginning the week of October 4, and the intermediates playing Friday evenings beginning October 9. Both leagues are currently looking for teams and players. Teams should have about 10 to 15 players per team and the cost per player will be about $100. Carty explained that the leagues are still “very em- brionic” and it is up to the community to express just what they want the leagues to be.
