West Vancouver Mayor
Derrick Humphreys warned
Friday that the water level
situation in Eayle Lake is the
lowest ever. The low water
Situation has been caused by
unusual dry weather during
the summer and fall.

New construction now in
progress, explained the
mayor, will raise the level of
the lake and more than
double the present storage,
ensuring an adequate water
supply for the western
portion of West Vancouver
for many years to come.
