make a profit from
their sport.

savs Mark, 35. of the toals
and other gadgets he and his
younger brother found lack-
ing in the marketplace when
they first started — their
Ontario- based company.

Last year they came West.
They relocated their design
house to Lynn Valley and
moved their production off
shore.

As the sport has grown in
popularity, so has their busi-
ness. Today the Bakoda line is
available in 400°) stores in
North America.

Last year, in terms of sales
volume, their company was
the No. 2 maker of board
accessories in Canada, says
