‘NISGA’A ARTIST Norman Tait and his carving partner,’

Lucinda Turner, work on the eagle wings for Tait’s 55-
foot Big Beaver Pole in Chicago. The pole was carved
in '82 but damages due to weather have necessitated
the repiacement of the wings. The pair opened their
own studio, Wilp’s Tsa-ak Gallery (House of the
Mischievous Man), ‘ast month at 2426 Marine Dr. in
Dundarave. : ‘
