The bad: news was revealed at Monday
night's council meeting by public works.

The district is already footing the bill for
a $6.8-million rebuilding of the works yard,
tocated at the west end of Hunter Street, but
had siot expected to replace the fueling facil-
ity as part of the project.

However, soil contamination was imme-
diately evident when two of seven under-
