merchandising students of John
Casablancas = Fashion = Career
College present Clotheslines, a
fashion shew to chase away the
winter blues. The show takes place
at the Law Courts Inn, fifth floor,
Supreme Courts Building, 800
Smithe St. in Vancouver.
Participating designers and retailers
include Norma Peterson, Please
Mum, Marte's Fine Leather Ltd.,
Robin Kay, Patricia Ficldwalker for
Arabesque Designs, Tahari. The
Bay. After Five. Rodier, Kara
Arden, House of Virani and
Peppermintree Children’s Weur.
Reception at 7 p.m.: showtime is 8
p.m. Tickets, $15, are available at
the door. Proceeds to be donated to
the Canadian Cancer Society. For

workshops (the second and fourth
Tuesday of every month) at the

the evolution of western fashion and
its relationship to changing social
and economic views in Fashion
