THE KOREA War Veterans’
Association has donated a trophy
to be awarded annually to the most
efficient Six Field Engineer
Squadron generai military training
(GMT) candidate.

This year the trophy will be
presented by Lt. Don Parr-Pear-
son, president of Unit 14 Korea
Veterans’ Association of Canada.

The award will be made at noon
on Thurs., July 3 at a brief cere-
mony at the Six Field Engineer
Squadron Armoury in North Van-
couver.

A general military training
course is being held at all B.C.
armouries as part of the federal
govetnment’s summer youth
employment program.

After completing a 10-day basic
training course, students will be
flown to CFB Wainwright in Nor-
