NCRTH SHORE Seniors’ Net-
work is a newly formed society
dedicated to reaching out to serve
and work with those seniors who
are in need of assistance.

The goal of the organization is
to provide céunselling to all
seniors in order to improve the
quality of their lives and their
well-being and to help them find
enjoyment in the experience of
growing older.

Special attention is given to
those who wish to remain a little
longer in their own homes near
friends, neighbors, and loved ones,
including pets.

The network society will en- |
courage seniors to continue to take . 3B
an interest in their community and -

to enjoy activities and pastimes
with other seniors. ; :

.. The area of activities spans the
entire North Shore from Deep
Cove to West Vancouver and in-
cludes all existing clubs, groups
and isolated individuals. :

bility in this way.

a formal mechanism would pro- .

vide more fulfilling and challeng-
ing opportunities.

Heath ‘says students will have to
be recommended by their prin-
cipals ‘and have: ‘‘superior’’ aca-

demic records." °-: :
-Applicants..must also have. the
support ’of.the-dean ‘of the faculty
in which they plan to enroll.
Admission will be limited to one
semester, renewable ‘with permis-
sion of the appropriate dean.
