The Blues mens team are in the National invitational championships because of being the host school, but they could easily be one of the top two BC teams who will be invited because of merit. Blues are taking part in the provincial championships this weekend in Kamloops where they, along with Malaspina College of Nanaimo, are the two favorites having finished one- two in the Totem Conference league. In addition, the local school was undefeated in league play going into the y ANDY FRASER championship round. Six teams from across the country will be at the college campus Thursday, Friday and Saturday for the national event. Apart from the Blues and one other B.C. team, there will be two representatives from Alberta; Northern Alberta Institute of Technology from Edmonton, the top college team in the oil province, and Grant MacEwan College, number two finisher, also from Edmonton. Saskatchewan’s entry will be one of two Bible Colleges currently battling it out for top spot. Either Briercrest Bible Col- lege of Caronport, or Cana- dian Bible College of Regina will be the wheat province's representative. The Eastern representative will come from Ontario with three teams still fighting it out for the nght to compete in the national! finals. Seneca College of Scar- borough, Sheridan of Oakville and Fanshaw Col- lege of London are still in the running for the tip to the west coast.
