Approximately 65. clients and their families participate in adult day centre activities. Clients attend one or two days a week and pay a S6 daily charge. There is a 20- person waitlist to use the centre, according to NSHR. Margaret Fulton Centre services include meals and nutritional counseling, per- sonal care and grooming, individual and family edtca- tion, recreational and social activities, counseling, reha- bilitation and health promo- tion activities. The new Margaret Fulton Centre was designed to be conducive in assisting frail and ss cognitively-impaired people. The staff includes a nurse, program workers, a recreational therapist and dietary staff. Transportation to the centre is provided for people who need it.
