17, 1998 after a courageous battle
with cancer, He is surmved by his

grandsons Nathan and = Michael,
brother David (Sandra). e was &
praduate of Royal Roads Naval Col
lege and served with the Royal Ca-
nadian Navy. He maintained ‘a Ite
long interest in naval affairs, being a
President of the Naval Officers’
Association of Canada (Vancouver)
and Secretary of his graduating class
for many years. As a longhme forest
industry executve, George leaves
countess friends around the world
from his many years of travel. A
generous volunteer, fs. commmut-
ments conteued mto his retirement
and included municipat altars, El-
dercolege and various clubs among
the West Vancouver Seniors. George
held 2 special place for the Mar-
te Museum and the Wild Bud
Trust. Retirement was full for Gesrge
