Computer supplies buy Carlyle Computer Products Ltd, a B.C. company owned and operated by North Shore resident Don Schick, said it has solidified its position as Canada’s largest special- ist in computer supplies with the Tecent acquisition of Western Data, a leading computer supplies firm in Alberta. Carlyle said the deal adds Western Data’s Edmonton and Calgary offices to existing offices in Vancouver, Victoria, Wienipeg, Regina and Saskatoon. The purchase brings Carlyle’s sales to more than $30 million annually and expands the company’s operations to include six warchouses and more than 100 employees across the country.
