on May 13:

Toan Van Bui, 34, of Van-
couver, was fined $500 after he
pleaded guilty to possessing
undersized crabs on March 17 in
North Vancouver District. A
Vietnamese interpreter was re-
quired for court proceedings.

Dean Edward Clark, 33, of
North Vancouver, received nine
menths’ probation after he plead-
ed guilty to assaulting a female on
May 7 in North Vancouver City.

Ronald Edward Hughes, 32, of
Coquitlam, received six months’
probation after he pleaded guilty
to stealing coins and jewelry
from a man berween Aug. 31
and Sept. 15, 1991 in North Van-
couver City. The items had a
value over $1,000.

Barry John McArthur, 26, of
North Vancouver, received ‘three
months’ probation after he plead-
ed guilty to marijuana pos:essicn
on March 31, 1990 in North Van-
couver City.

Qing Qiu Ru, 27, of Vancouver,
received four months’ probation
after he pleaded guilty to stealing
merchandise belonging to B.H.
Allen Building Supplies on Dec.
20, 1991 in North Vancouver City.
Ru is not tv be found in any
Beaver Lumber Store during his
probation term. A Cantonese in-
terpreter was required for court
proceedings.

on May 8:

Leigh-Anne Winchester, 23, of
West Vancouver, received nine
months’ probation after she
pleaded guilty to stealing money
belonging to Thunderbird Home
Centres on Sept. 24, 1991 in
North Vancouver District. Win-
chester is required to do 75 hours
of community work service before
Aug. 28.

on May 7:

Farajolilah Sarchami, 32, of
North Vancouver, received nine
months’ probation after he plead-
ed guiity to assaulting a female on

sion (NVRC) on Aug. 2, 1991 in
North Vancouver District. Milner
is required to pay $250 restitution
to the NVRC. He is also required
to do 150 hours of community
work ser ice specifically for the
North Vancouver recreation
system or other area of communi-
ty recreation.

on May 1:

Colin Scot Simmons, 21, of
North Vancouver, was fined $150
alter he was found guilty of at-
tempting to defraud a man of
under $1,000 on Sept. 17, 1991.
