LGH fair raises $4,250.

THE AUXILIARY to Lions Gate
Hospital more than doubled the
profits on this year’s Christmas
Bazaar.

A total of $4,250 was raised
through a raffle and sale of baked
goods and white elephant items.

year’s success to public advertising
of the bazaar for the first time.
Last year’s Christmas Bazaar,
when only hospital staff and pa-
tients were notified, raised $1,900.

The 520 members of the aux-
iliary are carrying on their tradi-
tion as a major fund raiser for the
hospital.

Funds raised by the auxiliary
make possible the purchase of
much of the expensive diagnostic
and treatment equipment that
enables Lions Gate Hospital to
stay up-to-date in the rapidly
changing world of medical techno-
logy.
