10 - Sunday, September 3, 1989 — North Shore News NORTH SHORE COURT SYSTEM New administrators named TWO TOP administrative posts in the North Shore court system were officially filled recently. Doris St. Germain has been named the new manager of court services for North and West Van- couver, while Dan McHale has been appointed the new sheriff for the North Shore. St. Germain took over as acting court services manager in April 1988, when Dorothy Penman retired as the North Shore’s man- ager of court services after work- ing for 20 years in the local pro- vincial court system. The 41-year-old St. Germain previously served as administrator of the North Vancouver provincial courthouse for seven years and worked for 1! years in the criminal and traffic sections of the Van- couver provincial court system. McHale, 35, has been in the provincial sheriff’s service since 1974 when he started as a deputy sheriff in Vancouver. DORIS St. Germain ...new man- ager cf court services.
