NOTICE is hereby given by the City of North Van-
couver, pursuant to Section 957 of the Municipal Act @
of British Columbia, that a Public Hearing willbe held &
on MONDAY, December 14, 1987 at 7:30 PM. in the
Council Chamber, City Hall, 141 West 14th Street,
North Vancouver, BC., to receive representations in
connection with the following proposed amendment

The proposed by-law will regulate the use, size, shape §
and siting of buildings and structures, and accessory’ &
off-street parking and loading requirements, the loca- @
tion and screening of refuse containers, the &
maintenance of landscaping, and. will control the
height of structures, landscaping material and land-
scape screens bounded by the intersecting lines of. B
a street, and a street and a line joining points along
said lines, fifteen feet from their point of intersection. B
The amending by-law will limit permitted principal in- &
dustrial uses and service commercial uses as follows: #
“Industrial uses” is defined as research laboratories,
product testing, and the manufacturing, fabrication,. §
assembly, storage, servicing, wholesaling and
distributing of materials, goods or things; “service
commercial uses” will be limited to 3,000 square feet

in principal buildings and fs defined as “property §
manager, cafe or coffee shop to serve the industrial
uses, or a print or copy shop”.

Permitted non-industrial uses which shall be ac- §
cessory to the principal industrial use, ie, “Non- @
industrial uses” is defined as general offices, data pro- &
cessing, industrial design, drafting, engineering and 3
architectural work are.s, meeting rooms, retail sales
and display areas, washrooms, Cafeterias and lounge §
areas, but does not include washrooms, cafeterias
and lounges exclusively for industrial workers. Out: fm
door storage or retail sales of personal or household
iterns is not permitted, except retail sales of household #
items manufactured by. the principal -use on the f
premises. q
ALL PERSONS who believe that their interest in pro-
perty is affected by the proposed by-law shall be af- §
forded a reasonable opportunity to be heard — in per-
son, by attorney, or by petition. :
