The biggest benefit wasn't for the injured though — it was for the 20 people in- volved in the society’s most ambitious training session to date. The exercise, mounted on a sunny Sunday, involved . members and potential " members of the volunteer organization in both search and rescue techniques. While the major reason for the exercise was the desire to sharpen the skills of the volunteer members of the group, it was as impor- tant to show the value of the service.
