Of course Toye is no
newcomer to this business.
He was a Fleet Street jour-
nalist for years before pick-
ing up the challenge of the
North American Soccer
League way back in the
beginning year, 1967.

Having travelled the world
of the league, founding the
Cosmos, luring Pele and
Beckenbauer, he is a past
master at being able to get
ink for his projecst.

By setting themselves up as
the team that everybody loves

to hate, Blizzard and
Houghton created an in-
teresting melody while or-
chestrating the media.
