Spring break ym program Keeping kids busy Gymnastics ciasses are starting again the week of April 8, at the West Vancouver Recreation Centre, and there are still some possible to practise outside whenever weather permits. Springtime is naturally the time when kids want to kick up their heels and turn cartwheels and flips — so why not put some of that spaces open. Classes are offered for pre-schoolers, pre-teens, teens and adults, covering every ability level. ' Girls and boys ages six to 12 -will have recreational gym classes taught by ex- tremely well qualified in- structors. The girls program is headed up by former National Champion and Olympian Susie Buchanan, while the boys program is led by ex National Team Member Glenn Butler and gymnastics co-ordinator Rusty Pierce. . Spring Session tends to be a favourite for instructors and participants alike, as it is enthusiasm under the ex- cellent guidance of the fine gymnastics instructors at the West Vancouver Recreation Centre. For any further in- formation call Rusty Pierce at 926-3266. Spring Swim and General Recreation programs at the North Van Rec Centre begin the week after Easter. Although a number of programs are now full, there are still some vacancies in some.
