ners when Vancouver
Community College recently
presented scholarships to over
80 students.

North Shore winners included:

Gasiia Mortezai. ESL
Vocational, KEC = Buokstore
Schoiarship, $250;

Rick Evans, Diesel Technician,
Fred Holmes Memorial Student
Achievement. Equipment:

Sherry Lynn Gilchrist,
Culinary Arts, = Fred = Naso
Memorial, $400;

Andrew Urschitz, Dicsci
Technician, Foster Award for
Scholastic Excellence, $225;

Scott Arthur, Culinary Art,
Kiwanis, $150.

Over 140 scholarship and bur-
sary endowments have been estab-
lished with the = Vancouver
Community College Educational
Foundation.

The Foundation werks with the
community to ensure VCC students
have the opportunity to develop
their potential and reach their edu-
cational goals.

The awards ceremony was held
in late-Novemeber in the Judge
MacGill Theatre, Robson Square
Conference Centre.
