Group raising library funds

handed over about $560,000
of their contribution to the
municipality.

At the June 29 meeting of West

Wyckham, chairman of the Me-
morial Library Foundation, pres-
ented Mayor Mark Sager with a
cheque representing the first in-
stalment of the funds raised by
the community.

In presenting the cheque,
Wyckham paid tribute to the
many individuals and corporations
and community organizations
whose contributions have made
the library expansion possible.
