One such course, Energy Awareness, provides meditation and grounding techniques, concen- trating on the energy centres of the body. Through application of these exercises, stresses and challenges of daily living can be transformed into opportunities for growth and healing. IF PROCRASTINATION often gets in the way of those good intentions called New Year's resolutions, then 1988 offers an alternative. Mabel Izat has been a group leader for parenting and assertiveness training since 1981. She says, “Learning how not to pro- scrastinate gives you more freedom and control in your life. Therefore it’s linked to assertiveness.”' Izat used to be a procrastinator herself but has licked the habit and wants to pass on a few secrets.
