_the report of a special

committee on prepaid legal
services March 17 and
adopted a proposal te join
with the Law Society of B.C.

in monitoring any plans that
would be established.

Prepaid legal plans have
operated in the United
States for several years.
Large companies have been

offering the plans as part of a

personhel benefits package.

Under such plans, em-
ployeés are entitled to seek
legal advice and be reim-
bursed up to a= pre-
