The West Van Rockets
hockey season ended Mon-
day night as they suffered a
9-2 loss to the Chiefs at Co-
quitlam following an earlier
6-5 loss, to lose the Metro
League Playoff Champion-
ship in two Straight.

Rockets in Sunday's game
were Steve Stuart and Norm
Sawers with a pair each, and
singles by Bruce Bradshaw
and Steve Drummond.

Yics Juvenile Bs kept in con-
tention in the round-robin
inter-zone play-offs avenging
the previous night's 5-3 loss
to Grandview with a 7-3 win
Wednesday at North Van.

North Van's final game of
the round-robin senes was
scheduled for Karen
Magnussen on Saturday

against North Surrey — the
team they defeated 5-1 in the
opening game.

THE FLAMES from the
North Shore Winter Club
lost the West Coast Junior
Hockey League’ cham-
pionship in three straight
games to the Seattle North-
West Americans.

The North-West

Americans have now won
the championship three
years in a row and totally
dominated the regular
season.
AN ALL-OUT team effort
gave the North Shore Winter
Club Pee Wee B Reds the
Zone ! championship.

The Reds won two out of
three games against the
hometown Winter Club
Whites in the semifinals and
then defeated Coquitlam B's
in two straight games.
