- Open Burning Ban

Effective immediately and until further notice all open bum-
ing for the purpose of the disposal of grass, brush, slash and
land clearing debris is prohibited in the Vancouver Forest
Region. This type of burning is known as Categories 1-7 inclu-
sive in sections 23.1 to 23.8 of the Forest Fire Prevention and
Suppression Regulation.
The open fire ban applies to all areas west of the Coast
Mouptain range, from the U.S.$Canada border at Manning Park ANDREW YADEGARI
to Tweedsmuir Park in the norti, and alsa includes Vancouver Sentinel
Istand and the Gulf Islands. Grade 12
This action is necessary to limit the risk of forest fires and is long jump (5.95m)
made pursuant to Seciion 78 of the Forest Practices Code of
British Columbia Act. Please call your local government office
