THE North Shore Garden Contest Society has
chosen its 1998 winners.

Shaun Kay, 12) won first prive tor fis vegetable
highly competitive comtest.

And he’s only been gardening tor two sears.

His interest was piqued when his grandmother gave hinta
greenhouse. Since then, when he isnt doing things 12 vear olds
do, he’s cither gardening or visiting the U BC Botarteal Garden
to pick up some pointers,
