There are a few important tips to keep in mind when working with fresh cut spring bulb Nowers. Here are just a few. . When purchasing your tulips or daffodils make sure the buds are closed and tight. Opened buds will not last very long once inside. Another interesting point about daffodils is that they leak a sap into the water, -. which is harmful to other flowers. To avoid this, simply cut the end of the daffodil over a candle. This seals the end of the stem and stops the flow: of sap. Now you can arrange the daffodils with other flowers in your vase.
