SURVIVAL SKILLS:
Seymour Demonstration
Forest is offering a program
for kids called Lost in the
Woods: Survival Skills for
Children. The session runs

from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday,
Sept. 13 at the Seymour
Demonstration Forest, North
Vancouver. Children aged
between four and 10 years,
will make a shelter that fits
into a pocket, be foot printed,
and learn basic survival skills
useful for exploring forest
environments. Kids must be
accompanied by an adult
