diving accident off Jug Istind
Sunday. .

According to Ports Canada
Police Cpl. Larry Kozak, Scott
Savoie was diving with others aff
Jug Island in Indian Arm at about
2 p.m. when he got into trouble.

Savoie was pulled from the
water and giver artificial respira-
tion on Jand.

Ports Canada Police were
called. Officers picked up’ ambu-
lance attendants at Cates Park and
boated to the accident scene on the

east side of Indian Arm. :said §

Cates Park, where .he was trans-

ported to Lions Gate hospital.
The accident is under investiga-

ion but foul play is not suspected,-

said Kozak, .
