THE GAME of cricket is alive and
well in North Vancouver.

Founded in 1921, the 60-member
North Shore Cricket Club (NSCC)
fields three teams in the . B.C.
Mainijand Cricket League.

Games are played at various
fields around the Lower Mainland
and at the club’s home Norgate
Park.

Membership fees are reasonable,
associate membership. is available
for. non-playing members, and the
club expects to have one or more
international-calibre cricketers
visiting this season.

The club is especially interested’

in developing more junior
membership, from ages seven to
16, to start a junior program that
will play in the Vancouver and
District Saturday Moming Cricket
League.

The: Saturday morning. league
plays from May to the end of July.

The NSCC will provide
coaching, equipment and, where
possible, transportation to the
regular 9 a.m. to noon Saturday
games.

Tennts Club.
