The Hobby Brewins were the first victims as they were trounced 7-3. RINGETTE REVIEW LAST WEEKEND, PoCo hosted the Annual! Provincial B Ringette Tournament. Dave Radbourne’s Petite B Jaguars lost their games to Prince George and Aldergrove. «Norm Fartell’s Petite B Hotshots made it to the semi- finals, but were defeated after the third game. Tween B’s, coached by Trevor Bud- do and Ray Hancock got to the finals and played a very bard game, coming from behind to win the Tween divi- sion. The final was a high scoring game, NSWC vic- torious by one goal 12-11. Jr. Belle Bs, coached by Carole Prescott, won their first game of the tournament in sudden death overtime. Their second game was ex- citingly close all the way, but PoCo won out in the end 4-3. However, in the Semi-finals, the girls were spectacular and played their strongest game of the season, the win putting them in the finals. In their final game, North Shore Winter Club girls held their own until the second half, when they began to tire after playing three games that day. Langley played a great game and went home with the first place trophies, while NSWC got trophies for se- cond place. RINGETTE NATIONALS BIGGEST EVER The biggest-ever National Ringette Championships will be held in Port Coquitlam, B.C., April 2-8.
