Y.M.C.A. is offering a
holiday outdoors fun camp
for boys and girls in Grades
5-7. The camp will take
place from December 29 to
31. The activities will be
geared towards winter sports
and games, such as
snowshoesing, cross-country
skiing, shelter-building,
outdoor awareness, snow
contests etc.

On Dec. 29, the children
will meet at 9 a.m. at the Y
and will return from Cypress
Bowl at 4 p.m. On Dec. 30,
the children must meet at 9
a.m. at the Y prepared for
an overnight stay at the
Hollyburn Cabin. The
children must bring food for
two lunches, one dinner and
one breakfast. They will
return to the Y on Dec. 31 at
4p.m.

Divorce dilemma

CHICAGO (UPI) People
who get divorced may have
often been better off staying
married in the first place,
and divorce attorney
Herbert A. Glieberman says
he has the statistics to prove
it.

“The high remarriage rate
among the divorced - 75 per
cent - and the high divorce
rate among those who
remarry point to the reality
that people may actually be
happier in their marriages
than they realize.” said

Glieberman, who has been a
divorce lawyer for 28 years.

Glieberman, who _ has
authored several books on
the subject, said Wednesday
that U.S. Census Bureau
figures show 50 per cent of
those who remarry wind up
in divorce court again,
compared with 33 per cent
of those marrying for the
first lime.

He said hius research
indicates that in most cases,
“You marry the right spouse
for vou the first ime.”
