Sechelt family gets local hand

Dear Editor:

Kindness and caring are
alive and well. My wife,
daughter and [ had travelled
over from Sechelt to have
some tests done for my wife
ar the Lions Gate Hospital.
We were carly and stopped in
at Capilano Mail.

When leaving, and having
allowed just enough time for
the first of three appoint-
ments, the car wouldn’t start.

We were concerned and
not too knowledgeable about
cabs.

1 asked one couple who
were obviously on their way
out if they could help.

It turned out their car was
too small for us and a wheel-
chair.

However, just then along
came a friend of theirs and
they explained the situation
to her. She was more than
willing to help.

We got to the — first
appointment on time.

Our heartfelt thanks go to
Darlene Clitt of Sutton
Realty and to the couple who

asked Darlene.

Unfortunately, we didn’t
get their names.

After we were sately lett
off at the hospital Darlene
drove back to the mall te see
if our daughter necded any
help.

Our son was there by this
ume and a tow truck had
been called.

We are extremely grateful
to Darlene, not just for the
ride, but for her concern
throughout.
