Well outside the Eiffel’s regular menu price range, but if you've never sampled the Jakarta, it’s worth the investment. Nighzily specials are listed on a tableside chalk board. On the Friday aight Table Hopping visited, it included a large smoked salmon appetiz- er that featured cold smoked salmon served over chopped lettuce and topped with sesame seeds, parmesan cheese and capers. Also on the plate: marinated artichoke hearts, cream cheese and a fresh tomato salsa. Gaod combinations all. Main courses came with stewed red cabbage and pota- to croquettes — a potato, y, butter and bread cruinb ir. Also aboard the plate: butter and herbed fettuccine and sauteed mushrooms. The beef tenderloin was prepared in a robust red wine reduction. The Adantic saimon, meanwhile, came with herbed butter and the aforemen- tioned accompaniment.
