WEDNESDAY is the
day to dress up in your
best red and whites,
and join in the nation-
al celebration that is

Canada Day.

On the North Shore,

there are plenty of locations
at which you can demon-
strate your patriotic fervor.
As well as the many neigh-
borhood celebrations sched-
uled to take place, here are a
few options for you to con-
sider:
@ The biggest celebration, as
always, takes place at
Waterfront Park. The day
begins at 11:30 a.m. with a
citizenship ceremony for new
Canadians.

Live music and dancing, a
merry-go-round, craft fair,
miniature golf and tons of
entertainment and displays
for the whole family will last
until 4 p.m.

Then at 7:45 p.m. the
Madd Celts will provide
musical entertainment as a
preview to the fireworks at
Canada Place.
